WYRD TALES IN THE WILD NORTH
A storytelling session for general and older audiences. An hour of myth and magic from old Northumbria, with tales of great wyrms and shapeshifting witches, brushes with fairies and bogles of the moors, ghostly encounters, stories of Border Reivers, and sleeping knights beneath the hills.
While not geared specifically for children, families are very welcome. There is no age limit, but please use your own judgement and understand that these are longer and less interactive than the sessions below, with more complex and potentially darker old stories.

ON THE MAGIC CARPET
Magical old tales from the Borderlands, and the world beyond. Interactive storytelling for 3-7-year-olds with storyteller Becca in the cosy Story Nook.
Discover how Bishop Cuthbert met a troublesome hobgoblin, how the rabbit got his fluffy tail or the robin his red chest, how a brave little rooster won over a greedy king, and more!
All children must be accompanied by an adult (no ticket required for the adult).
